Booking Policy
This policy applies to private dental and facial aesthetics appointments only. It does not apply to NHS treatment.
Dental Consultations
A £25 booking fee is required to secure your consultation appointment. This fee is credited against the cost of treatment if you choose to proceed.
If, after consultation, no treatment is recommended, or you choose not to proceed, the fee is retained.
If you need to reschedule, your fee will transfer to your new appointment provided you give at least two full working days' notice (excluding weekends and bank holidays) before your original appointment time.
Your booking fee will be forfeited, and will not transfer, if you:
- do not attend your appointment
- arrive more than 10 minutes late
- cancel or reschedule with less than two full working days' notice
Treatment Appointments
Longer treatment appointments require a booking fee to secure your appointment, charged at £25 per 15 minutes of appointment time. This fee is credited against the cost of your treatment when you attend.
Because treatment appointments often require significant clinical preparation, you may be asked to give more notice than two working days to reschedule. Where this applies, you will be told the required notice period at the time of booking.
Your treatment booking fee will be forfeited, and will not transfer, if you:
- do not attend your appointment
- arrive more than 10 minutes late
- cancel or reschedule without giving the notice period agreed at booking
Patients Paying by Finance
If you are paying for treatment through a finance agreement, no booking fee is required to secure your appointment. The same cancellation policy still applies: failing to attend, arriving more than 10 minutes late, or cancelling without sufficient notice will result in a charge equivalent to the booking fee that would otherwise have applied. This charge is non-refundable and must be paid before your next appointment can be booked.
Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that genuine emergencies happen. If you are unable to give the required notice due to circumstances beyond your control, such as a medical emergency or bereavement, please contact us as soon as possible. Whether a fee can still transfer in these cases is at the practice's discretion and will be considered individually.
Facial Aesthetics
Facial aesthetics appointments are subject to a separate booking policy, provided to every patient booking this treatment and available on request.
