Dental Checkups
Your first line of defence against dental problems. We recommend visiting the dentist every 6 – 12 months to protect your oral health. During a routine checkup, we’ll look for signs of decay and gum disease and provide personalised advice.
Protect your oral health with regular dental checkups
We recommend visiting the dentist every six months to keep on top of your oral health. During an NHS dental checkup, we will check your mouth and gums for signs of disease and decay. Spotting small problems early on can help to prevent them from getting worse. This can also help to avoid the need for more extensive treatment like extractions.
Many people are entitled to free checkups on the NHS, including those in receipt of certain benefits and children under the age of 17. The NHS payment bands make it easy to budget for your checkups, and the clear and fixed pricing means that you won’t have any unexpected surprises. We provide friendly and reliable dental care for the whole family, including toddlers, teenagers and seniors. Book your routine checkup today.

How can we help?
We recommend that children start visiting the dentist once their first tooth appears. This will help them to get used to the environment and the dental team, and it will also allow us to spot any problems early. Regular checkups from a young age can help to prevent dental problems later in life.
Yes, we have experience in treating patients who are nervous or anxious about visiting the dentist. We will take the time to explain everything to you and put you at ease. We also offer a range of relaxation techniques to help you feel more relaxed during your treatment.
If we find any problems during your checkup, we will discuss your treatment options with you. Many procedures can be carried out quickly and easily at the surgery, but some may require referral to a specialist. We will always try to offer you the most conservative (least invasive) treatment option first.
We offer emergency appointments for patients who are in pain or who have an infection. We will always try to see you as soon as possible, and we will provide you with advice and support until you can be seen by a dentist.
