Achieve straight teeth without traditional fixed braces
At Bhandal Dental Practice in Tamworth, we have extensive experience helping patients to achieve their dream smiles with Invisalign. We are a platinum Invisalign provider, which is a status awarded to a small percentage of providers with an excellent track record of care.
Achieving a straighter smile is now possible without the need for fixed metal braces. With invisible and removable aligners, you can enjoy a low-profile orthodontic treatment that does not interfere with your life. Please note that Invisalign treatment is not available on the NHS, even if you are entitled to free orthodontic care.
What does the treatment involve?
Every Invisalign treatment journey starts with a consultation. During this special appointment, we will assess your smile to determine if you are a good candidate for Invisalign. This process involves taking X-rays, digital scans and impressions of your teeth. We create a digital treatment plan that is used to make your aligners. If you decide to go ahead with Invisalign treatment in Tamworth, we can also discuss the payment options available.
Aligners are made in the Invisalign lab using a special elastic thermoplastic material. You may need between 6-40 aligners to achieve your aesthetic goals. You’ll wear each aligner for around 2 weeks before moving to the next aligner in your case. Managing your treatment plan at home means far fewer trips to the dentist than would be required with traditional fixed braces.
As you move through your case of aligners, your teeth will gently and gradually move into the ideal alignment. Aligners can move teeth horizontally and vertically to achieve the desired result. In some cases, they can also be used to rotate teeth. The comfortable aligners are easy to wear and simple to remove and clean. They are also very inconspicuous, so it won’t be obvious to those around you that you are undergoing treatment.
